Racial Justice in Syracuse, NY

When photographing the racial justice and police reform protests in Syracuse in 2020, I was a close witness to the immense, peace-loving power of the leaders in the black community, and the commitment of protestors in and around Syracuse. It’s humbling to have been there, where so many of our city’s leaders are (and have been) determined to do the work to build a better, more equitable, future.

I was one of four photographers to be featured in ArtRage’s 8 MINUTES 46 SECONDS: A VIRTUAL EXHIBITION.

I hope that these photos will be cherished for generations to come, showing the solidarity and commitment to peace, justice and equity we’re all fighting so hard for.  We are the future, making history and this is our last chance for change.
